No, the annual fee will guarantee our survival. There is a link back to us in the templates but it can be removed easily.

How to get started?

Follow those short instructions and you're up and running in a few minutes:

Join! (and follow the instructions you'll get).
Log in with your data.
(Play around with your new guestbook).
Put a link to your guestbook from your homepage. you'll get the URL when you log in.

Please observe that this is a hosted service and you are not supposed to download anything. In the administrationarea there is a small helpsystem to show how too be successful.

Do I have to link to erimax?
No. But we are happy if you do...

Can I seperate the form from the book?
Sure, no problem. Add &form=1 at the end of your guestbook URL and nothing but the form will be showed. Remember to design the form as a complete page. Don't forget head and body for example.

How to link a homepage or mailaddress?
<%url%> contains the complete URL except http://. To make it work you'll have to write: <a href="http://<%url%>">Homepage</a>

The same procedure is valid for <%mail%>, just exchange 'http://' to 'mailto:' in the example above.

How to use the guestbook as a diary?
Choose options and put "Passwordprotect form" to yes. The form will disappear from the guestbook and the only way to post a message is to log in and select "post message".

How to insert graphics/pictures?
To insert graphics or pictures in your guestbook those must be placed on a webserver. Link to your file with an absolute link like this:
<img src="http://www.yourserver.com/yourdir/picsdir/yourpic.gif">

Why do I get an "incorrect password" when I visit my guestbook?
Probably you have linked to your login-URL. Make sure that &loggedin=1 isn't present in the end of your URL.
